Framing & Structures

Framing is just one step towards seeing the completion your new house or addition, but you can see the structure taking shape in its most basic form.

If you have a home that is approximately 2,000 sq. feet or less, you can expect the framing to be complete in about 2 weeks.  Alpine Construction CompanyIf your home, structure, or addition is going to be larger and more extravagant the framing could take a few weeks to several months.  When asking for an estimate on cost of framing, be sure you know what it is you are asking for because there are different types. There is the basic framing which only includes the framing shell, interior walls, and exterior sheathing. If it is a two story home then it would also include the temporary stairs between the first and second floors. We also install the electrical system, insulation, and drywall.

A complete framing job should include all the basics, but also ensuring the home is weather tight; the roof, windows, temporary doors, and tyvek—otherwise known as a “house wrap.”  We have all passed by construction sites at some point or another and seen these puffy white sheets covering the frame of a home or office building.  These sheets are placed between the outer parts of a structure and the frame and insulation, and it allows air to pass but prohibits moisture penetration.

The Alpine Construction Company can do all phases and types of framing and carpentry.

Finish Carpentry

Finish carpentry is best described as the finishing touches to which a home aspires to make it look like a home.  Alpine Construction understands the importance of attention to the details. Finish carpentry requires more skill and a practiced eye to properly complete projects such as baseboards, crown molding, window and door trim, doors, railings, shelving and cabinets; even siding and decks can be part of finish carpentry.

When you are building or remodeling a home there are many options as to which finishing carpentry components will be used including the type of wood. The amount of detail can add to the overall cost of the home, but will add value as well. It is better to incorporate the finishing carpentry into the initial design versus having to specifically hire people to come in and remodel the original finish carpentry later.

Fortunately, we do both initial installation and replacement.  Whether you are in the market to build a home or remodel your current one, we have the specialized needs that will be a beautiful representation of your imagination when the job is done.

Concrete, Walls & Walks

When you think of concrete, you may only think of it in the simplest forms such as the sidewalks and backdoor patios and that the only color is gray. At Alpine Construction we are the professionals for these types of jobs that also includes walls, walkways, driveways, and foundations. We also do site preparation and install the plumbing required before the foundation is laid.

There are many other possibilities where concrete would be a great alternative too. Here at Alpine Construction we can do the very basics and we can do the very intricate. Imagine designs, imprinting, stencil, or engraved surfaces.  This is all possible and more.  Instead of marble, tile, or wood flooring, you can have concrete that can be any color you want with dye or stain that is made specifically for concrete.  You can have it all one color or mixed with several to create designs.

If you can imagine it, we can build it! Contact us today to see how we can help!
